This study aims to: (1a) Conduct focus groups and interviews with Navajo parents/guardians of children with ASD to generate new knowledge on Navajo parent/guardian experiences raising children with ASD; (1b) Adapt Parents Taking Action, an evidence-based intervention, for Navajo families of children with ASD; and (2) Conduct a pilot trial of the adapted intervention with 15 Navajo parents/guardians of children with ASD ages 2-12 y

ATTENTION: Apply for Graduation by 2/1/21!

Apply to graduate NOW for the spring 2021 ceremony https://in.nau.edu/registrar/graduation-steps/ !  We had many, many students who did not apply by the 8/28/20 Fall due date to be in the Fall program and emailed us very upset .  Many thought they had to wait until they knew they were passing classes or were told not to apply until the AAR is satisfied, this is not correct.   We are trying to prevent that for spring, so please encourage student apply no later than 2/1/21 if they are undergraduates who plan to graduate in spring or summer 2021 or graduates for spring 2021 .  Even if they have to move the graduation later to fall 2021, please encourage early application.  It is imperative that students apply to graduate PRIOR to February 1, 2021, in order to be included the spring commencement program!     https://in.nau.edu/registrar/graduation-deadlines/ Please let me know if you have any questions. Greetings, I am looking to fill two TA/SI positions and would appreciate it if you could pass this on to anyone who may be interested. TAs do not need to be grad students at NAU. One position involves helping students with a writing intensive course in health sciences. The individual would help students with APA style, grammar and mechanics, and academic writing in general. Students write about a variety of topics ranging from COVID-19 to college student health to healthcare reform. The TA does not need an advanced background in health sciences but must be able to help students with APA style (7th edition), selecting appropriate sources, making solid arguments, etc.  I am also seeking a grader for an introductory course in environmental health. Previous experience with Blackboard and/or grading is helpful. Some course work in nutrition is helpful but not required. The student must be available to grade approximately 50 semester projects within one week after they are
