JOB: Technology Coordinator for BASIS Flagstaff

The Technology Coordinator's primary role is to monitor, maintain and support the assigned site's network, to provide help desk operations and to ensure that end users are receiving the appropriate assistance. This includes all help desk requests and resolutions. The person in this position needs to have a blend of network administration, customer service and strong desktop support experience and expertise.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contributes to and updates the disaster recovery plan
  • Manages and maintains systems and process related to backups and disaster recovery
  • Maintains all servers and monitors performance
  • Serves as a help desk tier 1 and 2 engineer to support desktops, laptops, tables and smartphones
  • Installing maintaining and supporting a wide variety of network security/accessibility applications (firewall, intrusion detection, user authentication, virtual private networks, corporate managed virus protection, internet/email filtering and telephone networks and printers.
  • Maintains computer and mobile device updates/patched
  • Recommends hardware software and purchase of hardware, software and consumables
  • Maintain updated and accurate inventory lists
  • Maintain and create documentation of IT processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Required: 

  • Technical or Associates degree
  • 2+ years in an IT Help Desk environment
  • Solid understanding of wireless protocols 802.11b/g/n/x/ac

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of SharePoint 2013
