Fall Registration

As you may know new students can now begin to register for fall classes.  As you think about registering for course work, here are some things to consider.   If you are registered for OR planning on taking the 547 & 567 Hybrid courses this summer, you may not be able to register for the later ETC courses for fall -- because the system won’t have the prerequisites of 547 & 567 on your transcript.  If that happens, you should contact the instructor of the course you’re trying to register for and explain that you are a registered for the summer 547 & 567 classes and would like a permission number so you can register for their fall class.   This is just the ETC prefixed classes.  Core classes are a different matter.  However, if you do have troubles with those classes, you would still contact the instructor of the class.   In addition, if you haven’t sent your adviser a completed Program of Studies, you will want t...

Summer Course Registration

Just a quick reminder as we close in toward the end of the semester that registration for summer classes is currently ongoing.  As I mentioned before, with the recent university budget issues, summer classes will be determined by enrollment as of April 13 th .   What that means is that low enrollment classes will be subject to cancellation after that date.  So, if you’re thinking about taking summer classes, make sure you register before that date.  You don’t want to try to register later, only to find out the class has been cancelled.   Michael   ********************************************************************* J.
